Details:
Hello, you have just found my NEW full length album, 'Rise From Chaos', the 7th album in my Solo Rock Nâ Roll Project. Feel free to sample all the songs here.

Below Iâve put together for you some background info about me, my musical interests and what I do in regards to my music.

Thank you,
Jeff Redinger
--

My name is Jeff Redinger, Iâm a songwriter, singer and musician. I was born on March 8, 1979 in Kitchener, Ontario.

A few months later, a Canadian artist and his wife - Walter and Marion Redinger, adopted me. They raised me in a small town, near London Ontario, with a population of 2400 people. I was supplied with unconditional love and liberal values from my family. This presented an exceptional platform for me to exercise my creative talents in music.

At the early age of six, my parents forced me to take piano lessons. I thank them for it now because even though I play by ear, I apply a lot of that founding knowledge I received from the piano to guitar, bass, drums and anything else that makes sound.

Having grown up with a father who is a visual artist, I have always felt my life was a bit different than the lives of my peers. A wide range of art forms and artists always surrounded me; whether it was music, visual art, literature, etc. - it was there. The environment I grew up in was abstract and it demanded a mind of equal quality.

My father has always had a great appreciation for all forms of music. He enjoys talking about the importance of The Blues or the brilliance of Bob Dylan. A lot of his musical perspectives gave me a strong foundation. I have been largely inspired by Blues and Country music that stems from the southern United States.

Along the way, I found and became heavily influenced by blues rock and southern rock artists from the 60âs and 70âs, like Zeppelin, The Stones, AC/DC, Skynyrd, Black Sabbath, The Who, Hendrix, and a list of other classic rock bands. I have always been attracted to gritty rock; armed with strong soulful vocals, punchy guitar riffs, and rumbling bottom end beats.

Since 2004 I have written, recorded and produced 8 albums of original material in my current discography.

I describe my music as Rock with a mixture of Blues, Country and a touch of everything else. At times my written content conveys anger, insight, fear, failure, sex, depression, bitterness, philosophy, love, pain, confusion, joy, ignorance, and more.

In March of 2006 I took my original material to stage and started performing it live in London, Ontario and surrounding areas. Acoustic shows I play solo and for my electric shows I form a trio with accompanying musicians on bass and drums while I sing vocals and play guitar. - JR
