The band was put together for a musical project that was more of a rebirth of music for Tony after being away from the scene for about 6 years.

The idea for this CD was shared between Tony and Maury Gainen.

Maury did all the arranging, playing and conducting.

This project was as they say "a labor of love." Because Maury knows just about every musician in LA.

He called most of these excellent players and as a favor to him, they came to the rescue, he even got them to rehearse at home.

It took 2 months of reviewing tunes, picking and choosing ballads, up tunes verse Latin tunes, after much musical meandering, we finally decided on the tunes in this CD.

Five originals written by Maury and friends, and 5 are standards picked by Tony.

From beginning to final CD it took 14 months.
