Daniel James is a Christian Country songwriter and recording artist from Cottonwood, California.
He has a passion for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through his music and songwriting.
Several of his songs have done well with Christian radio across the U.S. and overseas and he continues to write and record newer originals.
"I want my music to not only change the world for good today, but to keep making it better for years to come," says Daniel.

Daniel is married with four boys and a girl, his wife and children often being the inspiration for his original songs. He and his wife, Tammy lead home church, worship and bible studies. Daniel does concerts in churches, coffee houses, parks and other venues open to Christian music. He uses his first and middle name because his last name is hard for people to pronounce. His last name is âMartinusen.â
âMost of my music has a country flavor,â says Daniel, âbut I also sing and write Christian contemporary music.â
Daniel has completed four CDs with all original songs. They are âAll I Ask,â âWalk With Me,â âLife is Goodâ and âFaith, Hope and Love.â
