Born the elder of two brothers in the island of Trinidad & Tobago with a father who considered himself an Audiophile, daniki began showing his musical ability whilst in High School, singing in the school choir and performing at school concerts. He also played the tenor pan with a couple of Steelbands in Trinidad, Third World and most notably Neal & Massy Trinidad All Stars. He is also a foundation member of the music band Sound Revolution.
Due to an academic driven Mom he had to put music on pause and concentrate on a career in Engineering. After 10 years of working in the aircraft Industry he then migrated to America to further his education in Engineering, but music took over and he began compiling music for his first cd while playing lead tenor for the village drums of freedom. His collaboration with Steve"Rolphy" Occasion began as a member of the Village Drums of Freedom where Steve encouraged daniki to sing.
Travels to Ethiopia brought his deepest inspiration as he learned the language and culture whilst performing at various clubs and shows in an around Addis Ababa with local artists like Jonny Ragga, Teddy Afro, and Shewandagne Hailu to name a few.
Along the way he met Lamar "Kronick" Mitchell in Harlem NY, and it was then the magic really happen. Kronick, Rolphy and Daniki made a formidable mystical, musical trio. He founded Asaph recording Studios and began recording Jah Love So Good and many other artists.
