Details:
Dâarcana was formed in the summer of 2003, with three highly acclaimed independent releases to their credit in as many years. Their third endeavor entitled Premonitions, is a double CD with artwork designed by Ed Unitsky, who has designed covers for Porcupine Tree, The Flower Kings, and the Tangent. Premonitions, includes a two part, 44 minute epic, and runs 1 hour 45 min. total.
Dâarcana has been receiving air play on various radio stations world-wide and it seems word is starting to spread about this exciting and innovative project.
The song âShimmerâ was included on a 2006 Canadian compilation CD from Terra Incognita entitled âDiscoveries vol.6â featuring some of the leading names in contemporary progressive/art rock.
While the songwriting core of Dâarcana is a three piece, the live band is as many as six, incorporating Michael Snow of the Metropolitan Hot Club (violin), Skip Allen Smith (drums) and Mike Palshakov (Keys)
