After listening to music all day long, this is a nice change and a great addition to the collection. It is reassuring to know that music can be made to soothe in many ways, and that with few notes and much space between, a different relaxation and enjoyment can occur. That is the genre's strength and David's own intent in creating atmospheric soundscapes that don't clutter or annoy.

Whether you want to relax intentionally along with the music or not is your choice, but it functions best either like that or as a relaxational soundtrack on top of which to do other things, as itâs very non-intrusive.

It's important to take time, to do anything, and while this may challenge you at first (as there isn't a 'hook' every 10 seconds), you'll receive a different reward if you let yourself give in to the challenge of slowing down to take it in.

Give it a try, especially if it's your first foray into meditative music. You may be surprised at the effect.
