Nashville engineer, producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Davey T has updated Country while keeping the music's original soul intact. His songs are fun and uplifting and give the soul a major boost! Believe it or not, Davey didn't play his first chords on an instrument until 6 years ago. Since then, this prodigy has self-taught himself to sing over 4 octaves, write, play 10 instruments, engineer, and mix professional recordings. He signed his first publishing deal in the spring of 2005.

Davey was raised in Ohio by two East Kentucky transplants. His Mom and Dad filled the house with Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, Kenny Rogers, Alabama, and the Oak Ridge Boys. During his teens, Davey added Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Dwight Yoakam, and Led Zeppelin to these childhood favorites.

While attending the University of Kentucky, Davey started playing guitar. Within 6 weeks of learning his first song, he was performing as a front man, bass, and keyboard player for various bands. After graduation, Davey moved back home with his parents for six months and spent the entire time writing songs. He then decided to follow his dream and move to Nashville, TN. "I came to Nashville wide-eyed and with big dreams. After livin' here for about a month I decided I wanted to learn how to make professional recordin's. At the time, I was workin' 3 jobs and tryin' to make ends meet, so I applied for several credit cards. I maxed all 5 of them out on recordin' studio gear and self-taught myself how to make records."
