Details:
Ever since as long as they can remember, they wanted to play music. That simple. New Jersey trio, Face 2 Light, was born in a basement in bassist A.Fatal parents house. A long time coming for two high school buddies Matt and A.Fatal. They dreamed of having a band and plotted and schemed for a long time. Playing guitar for friends and family the duo quickly created amazing original songs but with no solid backline they lacked the presence to really get a live audience moving. Then one cold night in February the duo met drummer Chris Berchin. A talented third generation drummer with skills to pay the bills Chris quickly became the rhythmic foundation to Matt and A.Fatal free form mayhem. After many months in a sweaty basement they booked a show and the rest is history.
They've come a long way since that first show and now after more than a year of intense rehearsals in their own private space at Factory Studios in East Rutherford the Trio is finally making its mark on the planet. After the release of their first self produced CD they have heard nothing but praise from people across all walks of life. Family, friends, first time fans at shows, music fiends on the internet, bands they've played with, radio show hosts and music writers all alike are amazed at the diversity and musicality of every track. Strange delightful journeys through musical genres. All their diverse influences permeate through their unique style. From rock to funk, folk to pop, reggae, ska, and progressive all of it run through a blender pouring out through the speakers. Three is the essence of sound.
3 souls. 3 sounds. 3styles. one amazing band
