Kelly draws her inspiration from the tragic works of Chopin, the brilliant simplicity of Satie and such modern-day masters as Bjork, Depeche Mode, Portishead, The Smiths, Fiona Apple. Although classical training and influnces are at the core of nearly every one of Kelly's songs, the final product is anything but 'classic'.

Kelly lives in the SF Bay Area and is also a member of the indie band MERE, and is currently recording their debut album 'Beautiful Things' due for release in December 2005.
