Glen Coleman's foray into performing began three years ago when he responded to a call for auditions for Grace Church's Cathedral Arts Festival in Jersey City, New Jersey. That audition led Glen to be featured at the Gala, a jewel of a gig, where his performance soon led to other unexpected opportunities. Through his newly acquired Jersey City contacts, Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul, and Mary) invited Glen to be his special guest at the Kerrville Folk Festival; Glen has had his songs placed in independent films and plays; and Glen has been a featured artist in many of Jersey Cityâs noteworthy live music venues and festivals: The ArtHouse, Waterbug Hotel, Women Rising Festival, Jersey City Arts Festival. Collaborating with a broad range of talented performers has been a wellspring of Glen Coleman's creativity. His recent collaborations include work with master slam poet, Dujuana Sharese; award winning classical saxophonist, Kevin Gosa; and Irish troubadour, Matt Gibbons.
