Charles Carrington and NuQ-Leus (pronounced Nucleus) have been together since 1999. This group has a unique style of straight ahead contemporary jazz, performed with energy and power. The group plays original compositions, standards, gospel-jazz, contemporary smooth jazz, with Swing, Latin, Caribbean and African Rhythms. The group consists of saxophonists: Jeff King - Tenor, Ricardo Strobert - Alto & Flute, Julian Meyers - Alto & Soprano, Rachiim Asar Sa-Hu - Acoustic Bass, Andrei Strobert - Drums and Charles Carrington - Piano. Since this CD was recorded, the group has expanded with the addition of Richard "Rasheed" Howard -Trumpet & Flugal Horn.
