James Piekarski is a professor in The Department of Recording Industry at Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. There he
teaches commercial songwriting, digital audio recording, MIDI studio, and courses in popular music style and arranging. He is active as a writer and producer in the Nashville area.
