A vocalist of exceptional talent, she credits her love and dedication of music to her grandmother and the Baptist church. Her ability to express the essence of a song with confidence and panache endears her greatly to an audience.

Cynthia started performing publicly at the age of seven and says she can't remember a time when she wasn't singing. While a teenager growing up in Detroit, she performed in clubs with various local bands and later did musical theater in college.

She has studied with vocal coach Merle Leffman and Bay Area legend Jackie Harriston. She has performed with many of the Bay Area's finest musicians and songwriters.

She relies on her storytelling ability, seeking to convey a common universal message through a song. She knows that love songs can evoke many shades of color.
