My name is Leviethan. That's my first and middle name. When you put them together it sounds like a mythological monster, or a Swedish heavy metal band. It's neither. I write and record angular, weird pop songs on my own. I really love bands like Skeleton Key, X, the Minutemen, the Kinks. I also love solo performers like Neil Young, Elliott Smith, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, etc. I've played in numerous bands in the Northwest since 1999 including Clock, and Heroes & Villains (http://cdbaby.com/cd/clockband2) (http://cdbaby.com/cd/heroesvillains1). During these times, I would write and record songs that wouldn't fit with the particular band I was in. The result is "Monuments in Memory of Nothing So Far", recorded between 2002 and 2006 in various rooms and studios in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. I hope you enjoy!
