Growing up in suburban New Jersey, Jeremy Nash discovered his passion for music before he could even talk in sentences. Encouraged by music-loving parents, he soon began studying various instruments, but before long it became clear that his voice was his most valuable asset. The ventures into songwriting followed soon after, and by high school Jeremy was already building an understanding of deep self-expression and a unique brand of touching lyrical honesty. After graduating from college in 2006 (during which time he directed a pair of a cappella singing groups), Jeremy moved to New York City to further his personal growth and to bring his sound to a larger audience. His self-titled acoustic debut album, recorded in his New Jersey bedroom and college dorm room throughout 2006, was released in early 2007 to a great deal of enthusiasm.
