Details:
Cellophane Masses combine a progressive mix of rock guitars and electronica along with distinctive vocals and strong songwriting to create an innovative sound. Every live show is different with various visual and performance artists on and off stage for an interesting and stimulating show. Cellophane Masses have opened up shows for Love and Rockets, Buckethead, Miles Hunt (formerly of the Wonderstuff), Michael Ferentino (Love in Reverse) and Pistol (formerly of Consolidated).

Several songs have been featured on MTV's Road Rules, Extreme Challenge, Making the Video and have recently been asked to use a song as the theme song for an upcoming show on MTV2 called "The Table." The Cellophane Masses songs "Get Up"and Say" were included on the "Electro Organic Vol 1" compilation released nationally through Navarre Distribution in July of 2001 and had been favored by many CMJ stations across the nation.

Cellophane Masses singer/songwriter David Wayne Starfire created Cellophane Masses in 1998 and included bassist Koa Stephens and drummer Lliam Hart and played many shows in the San Francisco area. The EP "Suicide Love Songs" was released the in fall of 2000 and was received well by press, fans and record labels. The band recorded tracks for their full length CD "Senses of Seven" in fall of 2001 and soon after Koa parted ways with the band. After finishing the final touches of the CD in summer of 2002, Alan P (David Wayne Starfire's brother) became the new bass player and are currently shopping to major labels and performing live along the West Coast.
