'tURN' is the latest offering by ngraydid of lyrics heavily ungerdirded with faith, featuring nifty guitar work and keyboard from producer, Pete Lamb. (Listen out for Pete Hale's keyboarding on Keeping it Simple). Great harmonies and vocal backing from Kelly Watson and Peter Lamb support the blend of rock and soft ballads, and there's just a hint of country on 'Refuge' and 'Rest' for good measure. (John was busy writing throughout and since production of this album with enough material for a further two albums to come.) Occasionally compared to Donovan and even Neil Young, edgy - almost protesting - lyrics will challenge the astute listener's thinking.
