This album follows a storyline from track 1 to 22. It's filed under the R&B section but there are so many influences that grace this album it's almost a genre on it's own for music lovers of all sorts to enjoy this album.

His debut album "Upstate, NY" follows the story of Ryan dealing with issues such as love, fast women, infidelity, and love loss in chronological order following a DVD format. This album is definitely one of a kind with all 22 tracks put in order to help develop the story. All tracks on this album were written and produced by Ryan Rucker except for "Beautiful Thing" which was produced by childhood friend Kevin DeLaney (album runs 78 minutes). Album standouts include "She Wants To Dance" "I've Got To Know Ya" "Another Try" "R&B" and "Maybe." Whether you're into R&B, hip hop, or electronica this album has something for everyone.
