Producer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Shane Iceberg was born and raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan. As a child he dreamed of being a musician, and at 16 he bought a bass guitar and taught himself to play. Within a few months he was performing regularly on the Detroit scene in the first of many local rock and roll bands.

Iceberg went on to study composing and music theory at the University of Florida where he also learned to play lute, viola da gamba, and acoustic bass. He has toured the nation playing lead guitar, keyboards, bass and/or harmonica in a string of country, rock and blues bands. His résumé now includes such well-known names as Joe Nichols, Mitch Ryder, Randy Travis, Tim McGraw, Mindy McCready, Marty Haggard, The Romantics and Iceberg Noel.

âHighway Songsâ is his first solo project â a mixture of country, rock and alternative folk - and proves Iceberg to be an ingenious songwriter, producer, mixer, arranger, musician and vocalist, with a style thatâs often compared to the likes of Neil Young and Bob Dylan.
