SILENT TREATMENT (ST) was born out of a desire to create music with friends during the spring of 2002 in La Canada, CA (a suburb of Los Angeles). Playing local clubs, building friendships and developing their sound for much of the bands existence has served as a solid foundation and an uncompromising sense of self. Until the fall of 2006, ST had lived separately from each other and rehearsed in whatever garages and studios they could find. Currently, all members of ST live in Torrance, CA, where they collectively write, rehearse, eat, sleep and function as one working unit.
