This CD is a collection of impressionistic and poetic comments on life and it's two most elemental aspects; the physical universe and life-force, élan vital, etc., whatever one chooses call it. It is a work of spiritual poetry with funky rhythms and dreamy sounds that comment on the state of the spirit in an endless entanglement with the physical world.

In his review of Unseen Worlds, Ben Ohmart (for The Museâs Muse) says:

âI can certainly hear the Eno and the Gabriel seeping out between the grooves of the CD, and it pleases me. I'm smiling. Right now. I'm listening to 'Beautiful' which is correctly named. The sounds that swirl and bubble among the multi-voices is an experimental reaction in love song making. Drum and high hat programming in and out of instruments I can't even begin to name.

Then there is the power of the hypnotist from 'Neon Lights (and all that jazz)' which tells me that Max is going to be the next Eno if he keeps this up⦠â

Max Tyrell is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist that has worked with the likes of Robin Williamson, formerly of The Incredible String Band and formed the avant-garde music group Zru Vogue which gained enthusiastic reviews from the music press (London's New Musical Express, Sup-Pop Magazine, etc.) and has been a regular play on college radio.

With a musical upbringing in the surroundings of members of the Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage via his brother who played Steel Lap Guitar with the aforementioned, and his sister, an accomplished ragtime pianist and opera singer, Max developed an unusual and eclectic style of his own. Forming his first band at eight years of age, he then in his teens played in a San Francisco area performance-art/rock band that reveled in the absurd and which regularly dazed and amazed audiences with their dramatic and unusual style. What followed was the previously mentioned Zru Vogue and an enigmatically catchy record that was featured throughout college radio in the
US and embraced by listeners all over the world.. Along with Zelda Blue, another former member of Zru Vogue, Max formed the band Bone Jar, which recorded the CD " Flowers From A Freaky World" featuring Robin Williamson on Northumbrian bagpipes, long-neck Cittern and vocals. The CD received glowing reviews, also appeared on college radio stations throughout the US and found a home with eclectic music-loving audiences the world over. Along with this CD release the duo delved into the world of film soundtracks and provided the backdrop to independently released and award winning films as well as providing various original music works for major film studios.
