DEL CUORE'S ESSENCE:
Carlos De Antonis' much anticipated debut solo album titled Del Cuore, means "from the heart" in Italian. Del Cuore's title was chosen because it embodies the essence of Carlos, and represents his compassionate, loving, and caring personality.

THE RANGE:
The content of the album itself is completely unique. Rare to any artist, let alone a classically trained one, Del Cuore's eleven songs represent a wide variety of musical genres including opera, pop, tango, and hymnal. In addition to the assortment of musical styles, the album is also sung in multiple languages including Spanish, Italian, English, Napoletan and Latin. THE LINDA EDER DUET:
Track 6 on the album is a special duet titled "Two Different Worlds" which Carlos performs with the talented Broadway performer and recording artist Linda Eder. Linda is an exceedingly accomplished artist and has released nearly ten albums in her career starting in 1989 with the self-titled "Linda Eder" and most recently in 2006 with "By Myself: Songs of Judy Garland." Though often compared to Streisand, Linda has always said that her biggest inspiration was, and still is Judy Garland. Among her many accomplishments Linda was a 12-week champion on the popular show Star Search, where she never lost. She starred as Lucy in the Broadway debut of Jeklly and Hyde, and has had a stream of successful solo albums including By Myself: Songs of Judy Garland, Gold, and I Am What I am. THE RECORDING STUDIOS:
The album was recorded at two separate recording studios. Parts of Del Cuore, including the forty-six-piece orchestra and 30-person choir, were recorded at the famous Capitol Studios in Los Angeles, CA. This historic California landmark boasts an extraordinary roster of previous musicians including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Bonnie Raitt, Harry Connick, Jr., and Prince, to name a few. The microphone Carlos used for to record was the same microphone Frank Sinatra used while Recording at Capitol and the Piano used, was the same one that Nat King Cole used to record at Capitol as well. The remainder of the album was recorded at the idyllic Glenwood Place Studios in Burbank, CA.

Del Cuore was produced by the world-renowned American producer and arranger, Kim Scharnberg. His vast experience ranges from conducting major international orchestras to producing highly-commercial recording artists. Kim's impressive list of artists and companies he has worked with include: Julie Andrews, Natalie Cole, Linda Eder, Liza Minelli, Michael Feinstein, LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony, and the Broadway production of Jekyll and Hyde. Kim has also written orchestrations for feature films (A River Runs Through It, Quiz Show, Made In America, The Net, Fly Away Home) and television (Ed, Party of Five, Dallas, Knot's Landing, Sledgehammer!).
