C.J a.k.a. Cutie Johnson of Jumelles.... The Johnson Sister
Has been singing since the age of 11. Her talent has taken her through out the Caribbean, the USA and Europe sharing the stage with numerous renowned artists in the industry. She has been privileged to perform at special events hosted for Presidents, and other dignitaries both nationally and internationally. Together with her twin sister she released 3 Gospel albums, since 1995. Cutie graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Video & Radio production then pursued the field of Visual Arts with a concentration in Photojournalism and Graphic arts. While attending school in the United States, C.J volunteered at various church youth organizations. Along with Victory Assembly in Providence R.I ministered at various street ministries, homeless shelters and youth events.
Ester Magazine in Philadelphia and The Victorious Living Foundation in St. Maarten are some of the youth based organization. C.J. ministered for and volunteered her services, encouraging young people to believe in them selves and never give up on their dreams. Her talent allows her to be versatile exploring genres ranging from Jazz to hip hop. In St. Maarten Cutie had the opportunity to perform & record with some of the best musicians on the island.

Her sister Lynn is a "Famu" graduate with a BS in Music Education and is now teaching on the island. The twins recently performed together at the 2005 Summer Fest Gospel night, in St. Maarten, sharing the stage with some of the islands best Gospel artists. The group was also the 2002 recipient of the Caribbean Gospel Music AwardâMarlin Awardâ in Nassau Bahamas.February 2007 Cutie produced her first Solo project entitled C.J. C OF LOVE; Inspirational sounds for the heart Part I. & II

C of Love consists of songs of various genres and styles with a touch of island flavor, featuring popular local artists, friends and family. Some of the best studio engineers have added to the artistic mix making this album a local work of art. All songs were written by her sister Lynn aka Lyrical L, herself and co-written by a selected group of local artists. Her siblings Anglic,Acher & Sly along with her son and twin sister are featured for the 1st time ever on a recording together. The song is entitled Level Yourself by J5.
Along with the Ring Of voiced Foundation funds from the CD sales were donated to the St. Maarten Special Olympic Foundation for two of the athletes attending the October 2007 Special Olympics in China. C.J has also written,directed, edited and starred on two music videos, for the song; We Pray from the Jumelles Refuge album and Who Knows from the C of Love Project.

This project means a lot to me, I am releasing songs that speak to the heart, soul and mind; Songs that were written years ago but were not recorded. I decided to take the and make them my own. It also gave me something extra to do while away from my sister, who at the time was away at school and working on our next project. I needed something to keep me busy and what better than to do something that I love; singing, being in the studio, making songs that make others happy and feel good about love, feeling loved, whether by God, Family or that special someone. All in all I am proud of this project no matter what direction it takes. I enjoy working with young people singing & training them. I am willing in anyway to help build the confidence in the talented youth of St. Maarten Neth. Ant. and around the world.
All we need is Love. The Love of GOD, CHRIST and One another, Never stop. HE didn't!
