Comfort Manyame is a singer/songwriter from Zimbabwe, southern Africa. He moved to TX, USA in January 2003 to pursue a PhD in Soil Science at Texas A&M University, which he was later awarded in 2006. Comfort currently has 3 worship CDs to his credit. Comfort's passion for music started in his early years when he learnt to play the Marimba at the tender age of 7 and as his love for music continued to grow, he later taught himself to play the organ and keyboards and started composing music when he was 17 years old. He has since grown to be one of the prolific songwriters of Shona (Zimbabwean native language) Praise and Worship music. Currently, Comfort is a member of the College Heights International House of Praise (Bryan, Texas), Worship team where he has collaborated with Worship leader Rilee D Kelton to write some of the popular worship songs sung at College Heights Church like "Behold the lamb" and "Fear not". Comfort is married to Nyasha and they have two children, Comfort Jr. and Julia Mufaro.
