Elena Christian is a new 17 year old singer/songwriter from South Jersey with stunning talent. She combines the crisp, pure sound of rock with a velvety, haunting voice that captivates your soul to a depth of emotion rarely touched.

âAffair of the Heartâ, her first solo album release, uses the electrifying qualities inherent in rock to pour out a story that leaves you gasping for breath. She took a huge leap of courage by bearing her soul and was rewarded with a musical masterpiece. In this album, listeners travel on an emotional roller coaster finally finding freedom from confusion and self doubt and the confidence to be uniquely themselves.

The songs in this album hypnotize. At first, listeners find themselves playing the music over and over. Then they canât help singing along with all their heart and soul. Itâs like being immersed in a book that you canât put down. Elena brings to life the magical light of a deep, breathless love contrasted by the darkness caused by despair and crippling pain borne out of rejection and isolation. Then mysteriously somehow an awakening comes bringing strength and joy. These feelings are not bound by age or gender. Her lyrics travel through the raw wounds of a secret anguish to the calming closure of self discovery and self acceptance.

Never quite fitting into the mainstream way of things, especially in school, Elena confides that her creative nature has been her North Star. Sheâs beautiful, funny, sincere, and above all, genuine. Her style is her own and sheâs got attitude and heart to go with it.

âA singing career is an enormous commitment, tons of hard work with lots of ups and downs,â says Elena. âWriting, performing and touching your heart is what I live for.â Elena will be performing her debut album in the New Jersey, Philly and New York area this summer, as well as in the Caribbean.

Elena also believes in âpaying it forwardâ. She has had lots of people supporting her and she is dedicated to doing the same for others. Through the sale of her records she is currently supporting two special charities. Good Counsel House providing a home for women and children on the street and The Education fund for Ugandaâs Children providing education, food and clothing to children in a small isolated village in Uganda.
