Gentlemen Jim is 70 + in years back around 1999 or 2000 he had heart attacks and was left without much less to do, but sit around and look at each other. I couldnât do much of anything else so I started sing karaoke.
So around 2000 in all of my travels around the United State and the Canadian Provinces I decided to attend karaoke club and started signing. I donât claim to be good, but I sure have fun and enjoy making people laugh.
I have sang in over 800 different karaoke bars and in 46 states including Alaska and Hawaii, also in most of the Canadian Provinces, last summer on our way to Alaska and back from Alaska I found a karaoke bar in the following three states in the north west area of CO, ID, UT and then I was off to Rhode Island to see if there is a karaoke bar there and we will have completed all the US States.
During my trip Japan in the summer of 2006 I find a karaoke bar over there and see if it is different from here in the US since the Japanese were the first to develop karaoke back in the 1980âs.
One year I song in over 274 different karaoke bars and had all of this documented by the KJ of the club and bar owner, in turn we sent the information onto the Guinnessâs Book Of World Records. I never heard back from them, but Gentlemen Jim says heâs planning on taking Lady Adele to London this year because she has never been there and we plan on contacting them and asking what they did with our information and if it has been recorded or if anyone has a higher record or is someone close to breaking our record we would love to meet them. Oh Well!!!!
I enjoy doing this even if I'm 70âs + years.
