Listening for a beating heart, A knowing ear.I am from that beautiful "MECCA" of music Detroit,Michigan.My father,His Father and my Uncle were Musician's,But everyone in the family loved music.They were instrumental in giving me my love for music and musician's.They made it spiritual,Magical, and Fun.Grandad played Guitar and the ancient "Blooze".My Dad and Uncle played "BeBop".I think this is why I enjoy all kinds of music and am Constantly studying and experimenting.Though they loved music,my parent's were most interested in me getting an education.So, I began playing late.Mostly Self Taught.
My Idol's are-Stevie Wonder,Smokey Robinson,Billy StrayHorn,Bill Withers,Carlos Jobim,Aretha,Chaka,Lennon and McCartney and many many more.I only hope one day I can be counted among the many talented musician's,and storyteller's America has produced.
