Jinsoo Terry is a Rap star, motivational speaker, and multicultural expert. She immigrated from Korea to the United States in 1985 with very little money and speaking very little English. Through many years of hard work and perseverance she rose to become a senior executive in a successful multi-million dollar American company. She is now President and CEO of Advanced Global Connections and a highly sought-after international motivational speaker.

As an extension of her motivational speaking and wanting to add another exciting dimension into her presentations, Jinsoo began to incorporate music into her presenations. In 2002, Jinsoo was asked to give an inspirational speech to single, African American mothers in the Bay Area. In order to reach her audience, Jinsoo included music in her presentation. These women opened their hearts and souls to her, sharing their stories and dreams.

The reception she received from her audiences encouraged Jinsoo to expand her skills to embrace rap music as a means of communicating her message. Music transcends all boundaries and Jinsooâs music resonates well within the African American, Asian, and Latino cultures. Her songs especially speak to youth on subjects such as overcoming adversity, cultural and gender boundaries, prejudice. In addition, her music focuses on building self-confidence to help youth and adults become the best they can be.

Jinsooâs passion for rap led her to a collaboration with well-known musical artist, Agerman and producer/performer, Spec. Jinsoo, Agerman and Spec have writtenand recorded several original tracks for Jinsoo and Friendsâ upcoming twelve song CD entitled, Why Not Melt? (to be released in December, 2006). This CD combines the positive, inspirational message Jinsoo is known for, with the authentic hip-hop style that is sure to attract teens and adults so desperately in need of such a message. The groupâs (Which consists of a live bamd, dancers, singers, and rappers) exciting performances have been seen by millions of people in Korea and are now being introduced in the United States.
