The Earth has been destroyed by pollution and Nuclear War, People now live on the Moon and the only way to relive the beauty of the Earth and it,s places is by trips through a virtual reality machine.

First impression is that this is a dark, broody, selfish song, about the trials and frustration of life, and the despair of not being able to reach your ambitions, you could look at it that way but it was meant to contemplate the theory that this life is a test of character and strength, and that to much emphasis on yourself and reaching your ambition in this life could be seen as an act of selfishness ,and that it is also important to put ambitions aside to take care of your loved ones and other less fortunate folk, Jesus was a humble person who followed this principle and set an example that you shouldnât look for reward but if it does come, it may not be in this lifetime , it could be in your after life, or your next life if you believe in reincarnation.
