Hailing from the Toronto area, Canadian trio Puncturevine brings an emotionally vibrant, yet strikingly unique and original tone to electronic music. While experimenting with raw sound textures, puncturevine also incorporates a more modern, groove-oriented feel, along with heavy concentration on vocal performance and texture. Gritty, bluesy vocal lines contrast sooth, thick layered harmonies, and then jump into full-on industrial distortion. Lyrically, PV is very direct. We try to speak about real human experience, pain, love, and spiritual change, but from the perspective of our own experiences. We just want to talk about what we know.We are now preparing the final stages of releasing "ignite", our third album, after our debut "burn", and it's follow up "unraveling fire".
