Vinny grew up in New York but slowly migrated south to the Washington D.C. area the hot bed of talents as diverse as The Late Danny Gatton, Roy Buchanan and Nils Lofgrin.Years on the road playing shows( up to 200 a year) have helped Mr. Roth earn his place along side many of todays top players.

Vinny was featured in The Sept. 2004 and June 2007 issues of Guitar Player Magazine..

Recently Vinny won local, state and regional finalist for Guitar Center's 2004 GuitarMaggedden Solo Contest. In 2006 he won the once in a lifetime chance to play with Deep Purple Vocalist Ian Gillan.
