The summer of 2003 saw the creation of The Yarbles, blending the true musical talent of Ryan Curtis on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Max Lawless on lead guitar and backing vocals, Jono Martin on Bass and Jim Bates on the drums.

Despite their short amount of time together The Yarbles have developed a truly unique and distinguished style. Injecting the inspirational sounds of The Who, The Jam, The Clash, Ocean Colour Scene and bands alike, The Yarblesâ powerful guitar rifts and infectious lyrics have caused a stir in the music industry, resulting in ever-increasing local and national support. Their determination, raw passion and down to earth nature gives them instant appeal.

They have been recognised for their talent and have supported an array of acts such as Hard Fi, Boy Kill Boy, Electric Soft Parade ,JAM drummer Rick Buckler 5 0âClock Heros,the Buzzcocks. As clear innovators of sound, The Yarblesâ debut single âShining Tonightâ was used by Focal Point TV for a documentary on established Finnish band âHIMâ. Other exposure includes the bands recent interview on âThe Beatâ with the BBC now playing their popular single âMr Make Believeâ. and early 2007 saw them guesting for Mani, the legandary primal scream and stone roses bassist at the revolution bar in central Manchester.on the "Manis manic Monday" show and broadcasting a live set to over half a million listeners.

Their success has continued this year with a christmas bash at the legendary 100 club on Oxford st ,London,and a full page feature in one of the uks biggest music publications "Q" magazine ,they are now with the new indie label,midlands based "Madlands records" and continue to benefit from the sponsorship deal with footwear manufacturing giants Ikon,they're back in the studio soon to record even more great original tracks,..so watch this space ,or come and see them at any number of uk venues where a packed house of loyal yarbles fans is allways expected,keep informed at www.myspace.com/theyarblesuk
