Singer/songwriter Andrea Stankevitch and guitarist Lukas Johnson make up the indie acoustic rock duo known as Acoustic Chatter from Boston, MA. Acoustic Chatter's music is a combination of folk, grunge, electronica, and acoustic rock. Andrea and Luke met while studying at Berklee College of Music. Andrea is originally from a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania. She learned to play saxophone at an early age, took up guitar and songwriting at the age of fifteen, and later moved to Boston to pursue her music career. Andrea's influences include Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, and Bjork. Luke is originally from Buffalo, New York. He picked up the guitar at the age of fourteen and has been inspired by acoustic acts such as Ani Difranco, Medeski Martin and Wood, Dave Matthews and electronica music by BT, Richard Divine, and Squarepusher. Luke often adds electronic elements to their acoustic sounds. Acoustic Chatter's debut album "Fall down," consisting of thirteen songs is available now.
