Looking For A Novel is the second self-released cd from singer/songwriter Alan Barrington. Barringtonâs time has been well spent with four tracks from this album receiving critical praise from the Suwannee SpringFest (Live Oak, FL), Minnesota Folk Festival, & MOVA Arts Festival (Guntersville, AL), Song Door International Songwriting Competition. He also is a regular at the Charlotte Pops Series.

Looking For A Novel is a blend of inspirational songs with lulling melodies âBluebird Café; cheeky lyrical gems with bluesy swaggers âKitchen Technicianâ; and touching, heartfelt pieces with disciplined instrumentation âNo Father, No Mother.â
Looking For A Novel was produced by Steven Swinford (consecutive best pedal steel nominee for the Academy of Country Music).
