In Radical Accion, the fusion between afro and Andean sounds with rock is further explored. The CD contains 9 new band compositions and 2 versions of traditional Ecuadorian tunes.

The cd tilted âRadical Accionâ was recorded in Quito at the Mama Cuchara Cultural Center studios and the Corporacion Cultuarl Ecuador. It was mixed by Juan Pablo Rivas and mastered in San Francisco, CA, by Faith No Moreâs Billy Gould.!!! Billly Gould has worked with bands like Brujeria, Flathbussh, Puya, Resorte, and Control Machete.

The term Radical reffres to the root, the roots that CURARE searches for as musical motives: San Juanitos, albazos, huaynos peruanos, saya boliviana; andenean music and latin American music. (These names refer to typical Andean musical styles, some in 6 8ths, other in three fourths) In âRadical Accionâ the instruments and the Andean sounds acquire a protaganism without ceasing to be potent rock.

CURARE lanza su segundo disco âRadical Acciónâ masterizado por Billy Gould!

El disco, titulado âRadical Acciónâ, fue grabado en los estudios del Centro Cultural Mama Cuchara y la Corporación Cultural Ecuador. Fue mezclado por Juan Pablo Rivas y masterizado en California por Billy Gould (bajista de Faith No More). Billy Gould ha trabajado con bandas como Brujería, Flattbush, Puya, Resorte y Control Machete. Fue un gran honor que un personaje tan importante en la escena musical de rock mundial, haya trabajado con CURARE.

En Radical Acción, se afianza la fusión de sonidos andinos y afro con varias corrientes del hard rock. El disco contiene nueve temas compuestos por la banda y dos versiones de temas tradicionales ecuatorianos.

El término Radical se refiere a la raíz -las raíces- que CURARE busca como motivos musicales: San Juanitos, albazos, huaynos peruanos, saya boliviana; la música andina y latinoamericana. En Radical Acción, los instrumentos y sonoridades andinas adquieren un rol protagónico, sin dejar de ser un rock actual y potente.
