Hey, my name is Danny Dunn. I'm a singer/songwriter from the Chicagoland area. I call the music I make "rock" but it often has a twist of Blues, Punk, Metal, Country, or whatever ! With so many different types out there I just find it easier to stick with the more general category.

My influences vary from the Doors, Zepplin, the Police and the Beatles to Neil Young, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the Butthole Surfers, Tool, Soundgarden, and System of a Down. I guess my Blues and Country influences are general, from the basic sound of the music and the way it hits me in the moment.

While I've been in several bands in the past doing gigs all over the place my real satisfaction comes from creating new music. I love the writing process, poetry, and blending styles with the music in my head to hopefully come up with something unique.

Boxing the Devil is my second record and I am currently in the early stages of recording the third. My first record, Sliver, was done back in 2001 and is pretty much a live recording. We walked in the studio and "BAM"! Layed it out!

At some point in time I'll put it out there but for now I'm stickin' with the new stuff. Thanks for stoppin' by !
