I compose music.

Iâve done quite a bit of scoring (film, TV, spoken word) â I love the work and Iâm always looking for more. (Thereâs a battery of mp3s below and a resume on my website: www.NoteSlinger.com.) I also work as an orchestrator (love the activity) and an arranger (love that too). Iâve arranged or orchestrated for Chicago (great gig, love the band!), Quincy Jones, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Elmer Bernstein, Mike Post, Ann-Margret and ⦠oh trust me, itâs a long, long list. My music has been in over 100 TV shows, I donât know how many radio shows and about 20 films including Reservoir Dogs, Night Falls on Manhattan, Naked Gun 2 1/2, She Devil, Seven, and All the Right Moves. I couldnât begin to count the radio and TV commercials.

Musically, my background is Classical. Iâve never stopped composing in that genre and right now I have over 60 completed pieces. I sometimes compose by hand (my right hand if youâre interested) and other times on the computer â it works either way for me. My studio is at the foot of some lovely hills north of Los Angeles.

These days, the creating I enjoy the most is what Iâve always enjoyed the most: composing for films, arranging, and composing Classical music.
