Desire is a band comprised of 2 talented individuals by the name of Cliff Roebuck and Thomas Byrd. First and foremost we would like to thank you for contributing to our music by picking up this copy. This album has been 5 years in the making and contains 18 of the best songs we have written from our beginning. This project is an acoustic one by nature of whom we have been the past 5 years being a duo acoustic act. However, we wanted to avoid producing a typical acoustic album that only showcases one guitar and one vocal. Rather, we arranged each song with accompaniment from additional guitars, background vocals, and cello on a select few in order to give our music a sound that is big and full and will demand the attention of our listeners. Above all we would like to clear up any confusion upon the title of this project. Since we are a duo act, why then is this project titled âthe solo sessions?â The explanation is quite simple: For 5 years we have been writing and performing together with hopes of finding other committed people to add to our line-up with no success thus far; consequently, we have felt âsoloâ in our endeavors. Much like an artist uses color to paint a picture; we have used these songs to paint a picture correlating to our lives and our experiences. We trust you will enjoy the first installment to the soundtrack of our lives.
