Memphis, the birth place of rock n roll, has introduced the world to itâs many talented artists over the years. From Elvis, BB King, and Johnny Cash, to the recent Justin Timberlake and Saliva, Memphis has always been a catalyst for artistic creativity. Following in their predecessorâs footsteps comes the next monumental band from Memphis: Hey Heidi-Rae.
Since their debut E.P, âBack to the Blackboardâ released in 2006, Hey Heidi-Rae has been captivating audiences and winning over the hearts of dedicated fans.
Having already played almost 150 shows in the midsouth within the last two years, Hey Heidi-Rae have shared the stage with numerous national acts such as: Say Anything (Featured on MTV), The Junior Varsity (Victory Records), Amber Pacific (Hopeless Records), The Afters (Columbia Records), Hundred Year Storm (Floodgate Records) and John Rueben (Gottee Records) to name a few.
Prominent Radio Stations such as 93X, Rock 103, and 94.1 The Buzz have been spinning the sounds of Hey Heidi-Rae, as well as numerous online and college radio stations.
What Others are saying:
â We play their music frequently. They rock, so we play them often.â Dennis and Ric, Rock 103
âHey Heidi-Rae is amazingly energetic on stage - shocking at times - a constant whirlwind of guitar massiveness, quirky keys and vocal mayhem, and a stream of melodic heights that capture my imagination every time I see them.â Ken Steorts, founding guitarist of Skillet (Atlantic Records)
âIâve been booking bands for five years now, with acts including Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, and Underoath. They (Hey Heidi-Rae) are just as good as these bands.â Ryan Gill, (Back on the Map Booking)
"Hey Heidi Rae is striking gold on the first listen. A gem, as one could say, to listen too with the dynamic forces of a solid rhythm section, vibrant guitars and sing-a-long melodies. Their intense live performance gets your blood pumping and awakens the inner spirit to move." Ben Haag, LOWER 4O ENTERTAINMENT
