Coming straight to you out of Tortola BVI, Nature's Little Secret is,
Lincoln Ward. Itâs been a long journey for this young performer.
Growing up in a household with a strong musical influence made it
certain that he would become a musician. At about the age of 8, his
mother a piano instructor encouraged him to begin piano lessons. His
father's influence as a guitarist gave him an extra incentive to want to
be as good. At age 10, Lincoln was introduced to the trombone and
continued his musical endeavors throughout High School and
University, playing in numerous concert and jazz bands. Upon the
completion of High School, he then saw it fit to explore his greatest of
all instruments (his voice). At age 16 Lincoln rendered his services to
other young performers with a similar passion for music and formed
a musical entity called All Good Entertainment. He was the only
singer among two rappers but they all made it their duty to write,
produce and engineer all of their music. Being recognized throughout
the community All Good Entertainment was awarded the
opportunity to open many local shows for well known artists such as
Shaggy, Freddie McGregor, Jazz (Dru Hill) and Vegas. After about
two years of intense practice sessions, long nights and many obstacles
All Good Entertainment released their first album âThe Integration"
in the summer of 2002 throughout the Virgin Islands. Shortly after
this release Lincoln was separated from the group, while pursuing his
bachelors degree and was forced to do it all on his own. Taking his
destiny into his own hands Lincoln continued to produce, write and
engineer all his music. Throughout his Tenure at the University of the
Virgin Islands he performed for numerous Talent and Queen Shows
and was able to work with many upcoming artists from the Virgin
Islands.
At the age of 20 Lincoln graduated with his Bachelors Degree in
Computer Science in the spring of 2005. One year later, September
2006 Lincoln released his first solo project throughout the Virgin
Islands in which he received great reviews from Djs around the
territory. Within a month of this Album Release Lincoln was faced
with the tragic death of his Manager âBernard Skelton Greenâ and
was again forced to do it all on his own. Having Written, Produced
and Engineered his Album it was inevitable that Lincoln continue his
recording career by manage himself. Though the road was tough
Lincoln continued to persevere and push forward. The second single
âSoakin Wetâ had then peeked at number 12 on the local top 30 count
down at the end of October and it was about time for the video. In
November 2006 he was able to shoot his first music video in the place
he calls home, Tortola BVI. In January 2007 Lincoln then sought
assistance from an old friend whose record label was also doing very
well in the music Industry. Tri-storm Entertainment who held a No. 1
position on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles Sales Chart for 8
weeks by artist M-Tina out of Manchester England, has adopted
Lincoln as their newest addition to the family. At age 22, it is evident
the Lincoln Ward is on his way to Stardom and plans to give the
British and US Virgin Islands yet another Positive Icon.
