After mastering their respective instruments, Stephen and Dave decided to ditch their birthright calling as ace session musicians, to form the group Chocolate OBrian. Blending memorable lyrics with powerful hooks they create a sound that is both emotional and unforgettable.

Chocolate OBrians music conveniently fits in the modern rock or triple A format. Some have compared the sound of Chocolate OBrian to Seal meets the Beach Boys meets your favorite band. In this day and age of monkey see monkey do approaches to writing songs, Chocolate OBrian seizes the opportunity to cast an original light on the waning creativity of contemporary popular music.
In addition o writing and producing their self-titled debut C.D. Chocolate OBrian, Dave and Steve have performed and toured with the likes of: No Doubt, Greenday, Les Claypool, members of The Specials, The English Beat, .38 Special ,Eric Martin, and a host of other accomplished but not so important musicians.

Additionally, Chocolate OBrian has a number of producing credits that include a dance remix for No Doubts Its My Life, the soundtrack for the Roger Corman film Velocity feat. Jack Nicholson, and soundtrack work for the T.V. series Black Scorpion.
