The original compositions in âEvery Mountain has itâs own sunsetâ combine piano solos with accompanying string backgrounds in a sometimes soft-melodic, yet inspirational upbeat tempo, and concludes with an ambient selection that has soothing synthesizer sounds, perfect for relaxation, romantic background music or meditative thought.

Robert Parkin has recorded and performed as a musician on the east and west coasts doing studio work for various artists, and touring with the Southwind and Yosemite Bands, where he played percussion, keyboards and electric/acoustic guitars.

He has an engineering degree from Grantham College and has developed and published several software products related to the music industry through his Software Company MCM Software.

His interest in keyboards expanded when synthesizers were first introduced, and he began experimenting with new sounds and recording methods. He later incorporated these sounds in ambient music and then combined them with piano solos.
All works have been written, composed and produced by Robert Parkin.
