"Whole Lies & Half-Truths", my fourth album, contains 14 new songs, mostly written in a creative frenzy during the summer of 2006, although a lot of the base ideas had been buzzing around my head for several years.

I ended up with 24 songs, recorded them from October 2006 to Match 2007, and then chose these 14 to release.

They range from pop-rockers like "Breathe" & "Was It You?", via the country-tinged "Telephone Line", to smaller, intimate acoustic songs like "Birthday Song" & "The Last Time".

I play all of the instruments and do all of the recording and production myself, with the exception of some backing vocals on 5 tracks that were performed by my friend Beth Burrows.

As with all of my songs the lyrics often deal with some very personal issues and feelings, but are sometimes just a product of an overactive imagination.
