SEYE ODEBIYI is a producer/songwriter/rapper/singer and has been involved in music for a number of years. Music has been a strong influence in his life, firstly as a singer with a children's choir, and then with a male r & b ensemble, and a youth choir. Over the years, he has developed his songwriting and production skills. His faith plays an important part of his music, especially in his songwriting. His songs tend to deal with the realities of today, and talk about the challenges we face as christians but always end with hope and belief in our faith in God. His production focuses on combining all the musical influences he has, especially his love for traditional african music, and comtemporary western and urban styles. He loves experimenting with different styles, juxtaposing as many different elements as possible to try and make them work together. This album is a dedication to the african praise and worship choruses that he grew up on and this is his eclectic reinterpretation of them!
