Backburner is a jazz quartet based out of Bozeman, Montana in the United States. This poly-stylistic group incorporates straight ahead, traditional, and modern jazz with Latin, funk, and classical music influences.

This release âAzureâ contains all original compositions. This CD was recorded with the concept of trying to emulate the live sound and feel of the legendary Blue Note sessions.
