The Bad Monkeys have once again proven their worth as a superb, ORIGINAL, tropically-influenced band. I've seen them perform live...and had a blast - and isn't that the true determination of a band's showmanship? Listening to COASTAL GIRL was an absolute joy! The CD flowed so smoothly that I had to keep reminding myself that every single song on there is written by the band...another rarity in this genre. They evoke all emotions - mirth, melancholy, wistfulness, and partitude (if that isn't a word it darn well should be)! This CD is PERFECT for parties, havin' fun in the sun, cruisin' with the top down (or off, for that matter), or just as a tool to brighten your spirits. Well done, Monkeys!
