Review:
"What a great album! Definitely an overlooked group from the 1990s. Their 80's amer-indie influenced sound (read Replacements, Husker Du, Buffalo Tom) displays a charming innocence. Earnest, heartfelt, punkish guitar-driven pop that moves through a variety of styles from the bouncing punk groove of "Anita Hill" to the bittersweet new wave pop of "We're Just Different", the day i had to explode is brimming with solid songwriting, catchy melodies and strong arrangements. Where are these guys now??"

Well, we're still around but gigging much less frequently due to the vagaries of geography and shifting priorities. You can catch us at friends' weddings and birthday parties...although we're not really a wedding band.

Eric Bowers and Maynard Sipe have been the (least) common denominators of the group over the years. We have been overly fortunate to work with a host of Charlottesville musicians who are immensely talented, oddly dedicated, and extremely decent folk. They played certainly not for money, but just for the thrill of making a poppy noise in the climate-uncontrolled rehearsal attic and basement of the Casa de Rock on Cherry Avenue.

Thanks to:
Rick Brown (guitar)
Matt Datesman (drums)
Wayne Gordon (bass)
Fred Hamilton (guitar, songs)
Phil Hess (drums)
Jamie Orchard-Hays (guitar, vocals)
Tom Vest (drums, vocals)
Hank Wells (bass)
