The Bowery is a Chicago based band drawing from influences in classic and modern rock, blues, and jazz. Formed in 2006, The Bowery began writing the songs that would become their first full length album titled "Six Centuries". The resulting 13 song work is an edgy and eclectic collection of music that is filled with rich chord structures, unique twisting melodies, and flowing rhythmic devices. The Bowery has a clearly defined sound all their own without being pigeonholed into any one particular genre of music. The band is continuously working hard to write new material and perform across the Chicago area.
