Brent White has spent his whole life around music. As a young boy in London, Kentucky, Brent listened intently to his motherâs voice in the church choir, while he reveled in the tales of a traveling musician from his father. Although he had played drums in several bands in high school, Brent did not take to the front of the stage until his freshman year in college. Everything from that point on was a whirlwind.

Brent recorded his first demo in 2003 and began playing at clubs two to three times a week. While his rapidly growing fan base was already spreading the word about his music locally, Brent was asked to play on Lexingtonâs WKYT news, Kentuckyâs number one rated news station. Several radio interviews followed, and more cuts from Brentâs demo found their way into the homes and cars of people in central Kentucky. Within the next year, Brent won a few âbattle of the bandsâ contests around the state, appeared at the Hard Rock Café in Atlanta, and was voted âBest New Artistâ on John Mayerâs fan club, Local 83.

Brentâs popularity has grown so rapidly because of the lyrical sincerity of the songs he writes. Brent takes all the events of his life, the good and the bad, and packages them in a way that leaves his audience wanting more. In February, 2007, Brent moved to Nashville to pursue his dreams of bringing his music to a broader audience. Donât believe everything you read?
