Corrupting Celest is a power trio recently turned 4 piece riding the border between Hard Rock and Metal. Based in Colorado Springs, CO, they hit the scene as often as possible with an energetic live show and songs they love to play. Corrupting Celest has been together for 3 years. The current lineup consists of Josh Glover, Matt Gallo, and currently our two friends giving us a hand, Amy J on bass and Eric Madrid on drums. Huge thanks to them Our first album was recorded at Catfish Studio in Castlerock which has since been bought and moved to Maryland. We recorded the music live, together and except for two songs, did so on the first take. Then we dubbed in the vocals, once again in one take and we moved on. The sound, although not top notch quality, was affordable. So we catalogued our favorites of our first set of songs and we hit the scene. We spent half of 2004 and up til August of 2005 playing as often as we could. After losing our original drummer, we started jamming with Triston and not only did it kick ass, it was a lot of fun as well. Then we added Matt on guitars and got to work for the studio. We hit the at Enharmonic Studios in Colorado Springs in the middle of June and got to work on the new album "The Fall From Grace". In October, close to the ending of our recording session, Triston received a job in N. Carolina and moved there. And we were sad. Then in December, Centra got a job promotion and wasn't able to continue with the band. Damn real life, getting in the way. Eric Madrid hopped in on drums for us and Amy started playing bass (literally) so we could keep playing. Huge thanks to them. We wouldn't be where we are without them. Now, the album is completely finished. We are finishing up the artwork which is being done by Nicole McPherson.
